"I have used Homesnag in both a personal and professional capacity and been very impressed with the results. 
 
In a personal capacity we used them to undertake a final snagging survey of our new home prior to it being handed over from the developer.  The survey took a number of hours and involved them checking inside and outside the building for any structural faults as well as internally for cosmetic defects.  They also checked the heating, plumbing and electrical systems as well as all the appliances and even tested the soil depth and moisture content to ensure the lawns had been properly laid.  The report that came back was very detailed and provided the developer and ourselves with a clear platform from which to agree on a range of remediation measures prior to the house being formally handed over.  Without their input a number of issues would have been missed so the report was invaluable in ensuring we received we took possession of a fully ‘snagged’ house at the time of handover.
 
In a professional capacity we used Homesnag to undertake a final snagging survey of a number of houses we built in Buckinghamshire.  This enabled us to identify any final snagging issues prior to the houses being handed over to the owners to ensure the quality of our product remained high while also differentiating between issues that were and weren’t the developers responsibility.  Although this was the first time we used Homesnag we’ve been very happy with the results and will be using them on all our developments moving forward."
