We are passionate in our aim for new-build homeowners to get the best from their property. It is our mission to support homeowners and construction firms that want reassurance they are getting the most from their investment and to push for higher standards.
Our company was formed with the realisation of wide-spread poor quality house handovers, and seeing the reports by existing snagging inspectors which were vague and often carried out by unqualified tradesman.
Our reports stand out due the detail and broad scope of checks carried out, and our inspectors have years of experience inspecting houses and are suitable qualified.
We specialise at identifying heat-loss issues and have inspected hundreds of houses with shortfalls such as missing cavity wall /, loft insulation, thermal bridging, draughts and damp.
All snags are photographed which enables the site to easily understand the issue and its location; which is important because most other snagging companies simply type a report that is obscure for the site and customer to understand.
Our inspection also tags the trades required with the aim of helping your site rectify snags quickly and remotely. We are the only snagging company that takes the time to do this.
Other unique selling points compared to other snagging companies include our tests on soil and aerial photographs of roofs and gutters.
For just £45 as a supplement (due to the time spent beyond our standard inspection) we can also carry out a thorough inspection to identify heat-loss. We do this using specialist thermal and borescope cameras.
All snagging surveys include an overview report that demonstrates the checks we have carried out: including the findings from the soil test, loft inspection, plumbing and heating, aerial roof inspection and more. The reason we do this is to provide reassurance that we have carried out a thorough inspection on the property, even if some of the checks revealed no issues.
HomeSnag snagging surveyors exclusively inspects new-build houses and we are all are suitably experienced and hold RICS accredited qualifications which enable us to identify issues that fall outside of Tolerances and Building Regs. Our eye for detail also ensures that your property is handed over to the best quality possible in respect to minor issues too.
